Water Therapy (Watsu)
Warm-water bodywork that lets you float, stretch and release. A profound way to soften the nervous system and free the spine.
Water therapy — also known as Watsu or aquatic bodywork — is a practice of being held, moved and stretched in warm water. The weightlessness frees the spine in ways impossible on land, and the warmth of the water softens the nervous system.
What to expect
You float in water warmed to around 35°C, supported by my arms and the buoyancy of the water. I move you through slow, flowing stretches and gentle rotations, sometimes bringing you to the surface to breathe, sometimes letting the water cradle you entirely.
- Continuous, flowing movement
- Gentle stretches that use the water's resistance and support
- A profound sense of weightlessness and release
Who it's for
Water therapy is wonderful for anyone with back or joint pain, stress, insomnia, or a longing to be held and let go. No swimming ability is needed — you're supported throughout.
What to bring
A swimsuit and a towel. Everything else is provided.
